The Thesis project concerns the synthetic study of a Marble Center on a plot, where there is an active quarry on the island of Thasos. It is placed in a peculiar plot which has its highest level at +47.00m and its lowest level at -28.00m. Considered that it was essential to design composite construction (metal, concrete, wood) in order to achieve exploiting every depth and width. The Marble Center hostes a sculpture school, student-teacher residences, a marble museum, observatories, restaurants and outdoor exhibition spaces. Lastly, it was very important to connect all the services through bridges and metal elevators, to be accessible by everyone.
